Happy New Years all,
Got a phone call from my oncologist at 9.45 am this morning asking can I be up the hospital at 11am to insert a line into my vein for the next lot of chemo.
Sure I said, wondering what I let myself in for.
So rock on up the hospital where they inserted a line into my right upper arm.
This is so that after my next infusion, I will be having a 48 hour IV chemo drip after this.
The reason being is that the oncologist reckon my first 2 treatments were too strong for me resulting in loose bowel motions and it would be too dangerous to proceed with the current treatment.
The new treatment is an old system using older drugs to fight the cancer but has less side effects.
Hope this works as I'm sick of having a red-hot glowing backside.
Otherwise, I still have a good appetite and feeling pretty good.
Got another update (Health unrelated) in the wings ...
